DPT V-1 — a pair (left and right) of lower add-ons for the side sills BMW 5 серії G30 (sedan) і G31 (touring) model years 2017–2023, made of ABS plastic in gloss black, each 220 cm long. They are designed only for M-Sport (M package) or M5 sills; for base sills we do not guarantee fitment.

How the G30/G31 sill add-ons differ

DPT V-1 side sill add-ons are lower decorative add-ons under the side sills of BMW 5 серії G30/G31 model years 2017–2023, the G30 sedan and G31 touring. In conversation they are often called sill “blades.” The add-on mounts underneath the sill and extends its line with a thin black edge: the car visually looks lower, and the side line echoes the front bumper lip and the rear add-ons.

Compatibility: only for M-Sport/M5 sills

The V-1 shape follows the profile of the M-Sport (M package) and M5 F90 sills. With these sills, the add-on sits evenly, without gaps along the length.

How to install side sill add-ons

The add-ons are glued on with windshield adhesive/sealant — no drilling of the plastic sill is required. The procedure is:

• test-fit both add-ons without adhesive and check that the extension is the same on the left and right sides;
• clean, degrease, and dry the bonding area — dirt, water, and cold worsen adhesion;
• apply sealant, press the add-on, and secure it until fully cured.

Removing a glued-on add-on later is difficult, so it’s important to set the position correctly the first time. You can also have the add-ons installed at the network of certified DD Tuning service centers — the manager will tell you the nearest one.

V-1, V-2, or another option

For the same M-Sport/M5 sills, the catalog also offers other add-ons. DPT V-2 — the same material and installation, but a different profile: length 217 cm, height 10 / 10 / 8.5 cm.
