The metal and plastic leg look identical from the outside.
The difference is in the possible load.
The plastic one can withstand up to 80 kg of evenly distributed weight.
The metal one can withstand up to 150 kg of evenly distributed weight!
In your case, there is no point in buying the one with a metal support!
