Roof Rails Erkul — Page 15

No. рейлінги are two longitudinal rails along the roof, while crossbars are mounted across the рейлінги, and the box or other cargo is then attached to them. Crossbars for рейлінги are usually purchased separately.

Not always. Model-specific рейлінги are installed in factory mounting points or with glass adhesive sealant without drilling. Drilling may only be needed for universal рейлінги if you choose a roof-screwed mounting option; the installation method is specified in the characteristics.

Measure the roof length and the distance between the points where the feet will be placed, and compare them with the dimensions in the product specifications. Universal рейлінги may require adjustment to fit a specific roof.

The permissible load is determined by the lowest limit of the system — the roof, рейлінги, crossbars, and mounts. Take into account the weight of the box itself and distribute the load evenly.

For integrated рейлінги without a gap above the roof, you need crossbars with mounting designed specifically for this profile. Clamps for raised рейлінги will not fit them.

No, the color in the name describes the appearance. The material of the profile and feet is specified in the characteristics: most often it is aluminum or aluminum with plastic.
