Renault Megane III 2009-2016 Emblem (2008-2013)

Description

This front Renault emblem (badge) for the radiator grille fits Megane III pre-facelift models from 2008–2013, including the Grandtour wagon and the Coupe, — it is the small 14.5 × 16 cm emblem with clips. The facelift Megane III from 2013–2016 uses a different, larger emblem measuring 18.5 × 15.5 cm. This emblem is a copy of the factory one from Davs Auto (Turkey) made of chrome ABS plastic; the black plastic base is included in the комплект.

What are the emblem’s specifications?

• Purpose: front emblem (grille badge) for Renault Megane III pre-facelift, 2008–2013.
• Material: ABS plastic, main color — chrome.
• Size: length 14.5 cm, width 16 cm.
• Design: two-piece with clips — chrome emblem and black plastic base, which is included.
• Installation type: into factory mounting points.
• Manufacturer: Davs Auto, country — Turkey.

Which Megane III does the emblem fit?

The emblem is intended for pre-facelift Megane III — cars from 2008–2013 with the small front emblem. Confirmed installation cases include the Grandtour wagon and the pre-facelift Megane III Coupe. In 2013, both front-end variants were produced, so for a car from that year, ориентируйтеся not by the production date, but by which emblem is currently installed on the vehicle.

How to distinguish the pre-facelift emblem from the facelift one?

Megane III 2013–2016 used a different, larger emblem, and these parts are not interchangeable. The easiest way is to measure the factory badge and check how it is mounted:

• this emblem (2008–2013) — 14.5 × 16 cm, clip mounting;
• emblem 2013–2016 — 18.5 × 15.5 cm, holes for self-tapping screws with 8 cm spacing and clips.

If the grille or hood has already been replaced with non-original parts, additionally check the mounting seat: the shape of aftermarket parts may differ from the factory one. Compatibility with other Megane generations and with Scenic is not stated for this product.

How to install the emblem on Megane III?

The emblem is installed in place of the old one in the factory position and is held by clips. The black plastic base is already included, so there is no need to look for a separate housing. If you want the base not to stand out on a light-colored body, it can be painted to match the car — customers did this, for example, for white.

Before installation, compare the new emblem with the old one: size, base shape, and the position of the clips. This way you will immediately make sure you chose the version specifically for your front end.

What else to choose for the Megane III emblem?
