Kia Ceed 2012–2018 roof bars for flush roof rails
For the Kia Ceed JD (2012–2018, hatchback and Sportswagon estate) with factory flush roof rails – the type that sits on the roof with no gap – we offer six roof-bar sets from the Turkish manufacturer Erkul: Ecem V2, Strong V2, Skybar V2, Wizard V2, "Lockable crossbars" and WingCarrier V2. Each set is a pair of aluminium bars with clamp feet, in grey or black; no drilling is required.
Which roof bars fit the Ceed JD
| Set | Material | Length / options | Colour | Lock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Erkul Ecem V2 | aluminium | up to 110 or up to 120 cm | grey / black | yes (lockable) |
| Erkul Strong V2 | aluminium | 120 cm | grey / black | not stated on the product card |
| Erkul Skybar V2 | aluminium | 120 cm | grey / black | not stated on the product card |
| Erkul Wizard V2 | aluminium | 115 or 125 cm | grey / black | not stated on the product card |
| Erkul Lockable crossbars | aluminium + plastic | by roof measurement | grey / black | yes (lockable) |
| Erkul WingCarrier V2 | aluminium | by roof measurement | grey / black | yes (lockable) |
How to tell whether your Ceed has flush rails
Try to slide a hand between the rail and the roof. If it will not fit, the rail sits flat along the roof and has a channel along its outer side for the clamp – those are flush rails and the bars on this page fit. If there is a gap under the rail, you need roof bars for raised rails. The JD hatchback often has no rails at all, with fixed points hidden under covers in the roof – see roof bars for fixed points; for a roof with no points there are roof bars for a bare roof. 2012 is the changeover year between the ED and JD generations, so check the body on the car, not just the year.
Choosing the length and what you can carry
- Measure the distance between the rails separately at the front and the rear and match it to the option: Ecem V2 up to 110 or up to 120 cm, Wizard V2 115 or 125 cm, Skybar V2 and Strong V2 120 cm. If unsure, send us a photo of the roof with the measurements.
- A roof box, bike carrier or ski carrier mounts on the crossbars, not directly on the rails.
All options for this model are in roof racks and rails for the Kia Ceed 2012–2018. Delivery to the UK.
