How to choose cross bars and roof rails for Subaru

Cross bars are chosen by roof type, not only by model. Standard roof rails have a gap between the rail and the roof where you can fit your hand — these use a roof rack for rails. Integrated rails sit flush to the roof with no gap and require different mounts, and a roof without rails is a third option. If you’re unsure, send the manager a photo of the roof.
