Toyota Tuning Parts — Page 233
Toyota tuning at DD Tuning is selected by model and body generation — from Corolla, Camry and Yaris to RAV4, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Prado, Hilux, Tundra and Sequoia. The widest selection is for Land Cruiser 200 and 300, Prado 150 and 250, and Hilux (body kits, facelift conversion kits, bull bars, side steps, canopies and roller shutters), while floor mats, deflectors, roof rails and chrome trim are available for most models.
| Model | Bodies and years | What to check before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Land Cruiser 200 | pre-facelift up to 2015, facelift from 2016 | Match the actually installed bumper and front end, not the year in the documents; for 2008–2015 there are facelift conversion kits |
| Land Cruiser 300 | separate generation | An LC200 “dressed up as a 300” is not a factory LC300 |
| Prado 150 | one body with updates in 2013 and 2017 | The hood and headlights changed: the hood deflector for 2009–2013 and for 2013–2017 are different |
| Prado 250 | new generation | Parts from Prado 150 do not carry over to it |
| Hilux 2006–2015 and Hilux 2015+ | 2006–2015, 2015+ | Bed covers for 2015–2020 and from 2020 are different; on the 2015–2016 borderline, verify the body by photos |
| RAV4 2006–2013, 2013–2018, 2019–2025 | three generations | A 2018 RAV4 is still the 2013–2018 body; in 2006–2013, the short and long wheelbase versions have roof rails of different lengths |
Start by selecting your model from the list on this page — the body years are shown in the title of each model page.
Land Cruiser and Prado: body first, then the part
Most tuning options are for SUVs: Land Cruiser 200, Land Cruiser 300, Prado 150, Prado 250, as well as Prado 120 and Land Cruiser 100. These are different vehicles: parts from Prado 150 do not transfer to Prado 250, and an LC200 “dressed up as a 300” is not a factory LC300. There are differences even within the same body:
- LC200 was produced in the pre-facelift design up to 2015, and in the facelift design from 2016. The vehicle’s year and the part design year are different things: many 2008–2015 vehicles have already been converted, so body kits, fenders, headlights and taillights should be selected by the actually installed bumper and front end, not by the year in the documents.
- Prado 150 is one body with updates in 2013 and 2017. The hood and headlights changed, so, for example, the hood deflector for 2009–2013 and for 2013–2017 are different products.
- Trunk mats for 5-seat and 7-seat interiors are different: for 7 seats it’s a two-piece set.
To update an older LC200 or Prado 150 to a newer look, a bumper alone is not enough — the hood, fenders, headlights and grille are designed to match each other. For this there are Toyota facelift conversion kits: from LC200 2008–2015 to 2016 Comfort, Executive 2016, 2019 and 2021, or to the LC300 High-Line style; from Prado 150 to the 2013–2017 version, 2017+ or Lexus GX460; there are also kits for Hilux, Land Cruiser 70, Tundra and Sequoia. Parts are first test-fitted and aligned by panel gaps, then painted. The kit can be installed at the network of certified DD Tuning service centers — your manager will suggest the nearest one.
Hilux: tuning for a pickup
For Hilux 2015+ and Hilux 2006–2015 there are canopies and bed covers, bars and roll bars, bed roller shutters, bull bars, heavy-duty bumpers and other OffRoad accessories. A few tips before choosing:
- Within the 2015+ body, bed covers for 2015–2020 vehicles and from 2020 are different.
- Choose the roll bar “for roller shutters” or “without roller shutters” depending on whether you plan to close the bed with a roller shutter.
- On the 2015–2016 generation borderline, verify the body by photos rather than the year: mud flaps and front parts differ between the two generations.
- Wind deflectors for Hilux are sold as a set of 4 — they are designed for a four-door cab.
RAV4, Camry, Corolla, Highlander
Toyota crossovers and sedans also have several generations: RAV4 2019–2025, RAV4 2013–2018, RAV4 2006–2013, Camry 2017–2023, Camry 2011–2017, Corolla 2019+, Highlander 2019+. Check transitional years by photos: a 2018 RAV4 is still the facelift of the 2013–2018 body, not a new body. RAV4 2006–2013 was produced with a short and long wheelbase: the short one has a small triangular rear side window, while the long one has an elongated one. Roof rails for the two wheelbases differ in length, so determine the wheelbase before ordering.
What to choose for any Toyota
- Toyota floor mats — rubber, textile and EVA, for the cabin and the trunk. EVA mats have cells that trap water and dirt; the base color and edging color are chosen separately.
- Deflectors: a “bug shield” is a hood deflector, and “wind deflectors” are window deflectors. Wind deflectors come without a molding, with a chrome molding, or with a black molding.
- Bull bars and side steps, side running boards (sold as a pair) and fender flares — for SUVs, pickups and crossovers.
- Roof rails and roof racks — for standard raised rails, integrated rails, factory mounting points, or a smooth roof.
- Chrome trim covers for handles, mirrors and doors. Handle covers for keyless entry are selected by the number and placement of buttons and sensors.
- Rear lights and headlights: some fit factory connectors, others require adapters, so compare connector photos, and leave the wiring to an auto electrician.
