What fits Golf 7 before and after the 2017 facelift

How to choose a body kit for Golf 7, GTI or R

Body kit parts are selected not by the trim name, but by the shape of the bumper installed on the car. DPT front bumper lips are split into three groups: for the stock bumper, for GTI, and for R / R-Line — each separately for 2012–2017 and 2017–2019. The rear diffusers work the same way: options for the standard bumper, for GTI, and for R / R-Line. If your car has already been converted, for example with an R-Line bumper, choose parts for the bumper that’s actually installed. Most lips, diffusers and spoilers come in gloss black, some are paint-ready; DPT side skirts are available in ten different designs.

Facelift kits and lighting

To make a 2012–2017 Golf look like a 7.5, there are GBT facelift kits in 2017–2020 GTI or R look. For 2017–2020 cars, there are R-Line, R and GTI body kit sets; bumpers in these sets are made of polypropylene (PP). Installation is available through DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers — your manager will point you to the nearest one. GBT headlights are grouped by years 2012–2017 and 2017–2020 and by version: without control units or with control units, with dynamic turn signal, in silver or red styling. Before replacement, compare your factory lights with the headlight description. Tail lights are available for both periods; for 2012–2017 there are also versions with dynamic turn signal.
