VW Golf Mk4 Rear Spoilers (1997–2006)

Looking for a VW Golf Mk4 spoiler? This page lists rear spoilers for the Volkswagen Golf IV built from 1997 to 2006: four model-specific spoilers shaped for this generation and several universal spoilers chosen by size. Spoilers from the Mk5, Mk6 or Mk7 will not fit the Mk4.

Model-specific Golf Mk4 spoilers

• DPT V-1 and DPT V-2 (Turkey) – ABS plastic in gloss black, marked HB for the hatchback; the V-1 is 110 cm long.
• Meliset (Turkey) – fibreglass, supplied ready to paint.
• V2 DDCarbon (Taiwan) – plastic ready to paint; the product page lists the Golf 4 Mk4 including the R32, 1998–2004.

Hatchback or estate

The DPT spoilers are made for the hatchback. Fitment of a hatchback spoiler on the Golf Mk4 estate (Variant) is not confirmed, as the tailgate is different. For the estate, consider a universal spoiler and send us photos and measurements before ordering.

Universal spoilers and fitting

Options include Sunplex in 14 sizes (107–131 cm), DPT in 95, 115 and 120 cm, the HongHang type-B at 134 cm and a Digital Designs rear window spoiler at 111 cm. Always trial-fit a universal part first. Gloss black can go straight on; fibreglass is trial-fitted, sanded, primed and painted to match your colour. Most spoilers are bonded with windscreen adhesive sealant, bought separately; the type-B is self-adhesive. Clean and degrease the surface first.

Front lips are under Golf Mk4 front bumper, diffusers under rear bumper, and everything else on the VW Golf 4 page.
