Volkswagen T4 Transporter 1990-2003 Rubber Floor Mats (2 pcs, Polytep)

Description

Polytep rubber mats for Volkswagen T4 Transporter 1990–2003 — a set of two black rubber interior mats. Manufacturer — Polytep, material — rubber, mounting — with clips or screws in the factory locations.

Which Volkswagen T4 the Polytep mats fit

This page refers to the Volkswagen T4 Transporter produced from 1990 to 2003. For mats, the interior matters more than the model year: front seat layout, wheelbase, and the floor in the driver and passenger areas. T4 and T5 mats are not interchangeable — these are different generations with different floor templates, so do not choose a set by model similarity. If your T4 has an unusual seat layout or a converted interior, send the manager a photo of the floor: this will show whether the contour matches.

The “1+1” and “1+2” markings in conversations about vans and minibuses describe the seating layout, not the number of mats: driver plus a single or double passenger seat. This page sells exactly a set of two mats, as stated in the specifications.

What is included in the set and what it is made of

• manufacturer — Polytep;
• material — rubber, color black;
• set contents — 2 mats;
• installation type — clips or screws;
• texture — the photo shows a small-square pattern that helps retain water and dirt.

The rear row, bridges, and additional sections are not included in this set, so always verify the contents by the product specifications, not only by an interior photo.

Polytep rubber mats: smell, care, selection

Rubber differs in thickness, weight, and softness. Budget rubber mats may have a noticeable rubber smell at first: before installation, it is useful to wash and air them out, but it is not possible to promise that the smell will disappear completely. The edges and texture retain meltwater and sand, and cleaning such mats is simple: shake out and rinse with water, then let them dry.

Before fixing, test-fit the mat without fastening: it should follow the floor contour, not interfere with the pedals, and not bunch into folds. Cabin fasteners and screw points differ depending on the vehicle trim, so check what you have. The mats can be installed on your own, and if needed — at the network of certified DD Tuning service centers — the manager will suggest the nearest one. We ship orders via Nova Poshta.

What else to choose for the T4 interior

Other rubber interior mats are collected in the rubber mats section, and the full selection of materials — in the car mats category.
