Lexus will present the most powerful sedan LS

The Japanese car brand Lexus is preparing for the presentation of the 600-horsepower flagship sedan LS. This became known from foreign journalists who found fresh pictures of the car in one of the social networks.

The presentation of the upgraded Lexus LS sedan should take place at the end of next month as part of the Tokyo Motor Show. The car will receive a V8 power unit with a capacity of 600 horsepower and supplemented by twin turbocharging.

However, the modernization of the model affected not only the power plant, but also its appearance. The car will receive new body kit parts, as well as larger air intakes and stylish rims in dark colors. Thanks to the new 4-cylinder engine, the Lexus LS will be able to compete with such class legends as the Audi S8, Mercedes-AMG S63 and BMW M760.

To date, the most powerful and fastest sedan of the Japanese company is the A Sport version, which is equipped with a 315-horsepower 3.5-liter engine. The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration from standstill to the first "hundred" takes 4.5 seconds.

It is assumed that the 4-liter engine can also be installed on the coupe model, which will later receive the letter F in the title.
