The Germans introduced the cheapest electric car

Global automotive manufacturers are trying to get ahead of each other in terms of the production of electric vehicles. However, in addition to the main competition, various startups periodically appear that demonstrate their desire to occupy their niche in this field with their developments.
Recently, a group of German developers from Sono Motors presented their invention called Sion. This is nothing but an electric car, the cost of which differs sharply from well-known manufacturers and amounts to 16 thousand euros. Although the maximum travel range in this case is only 190 kilometers before the first recharge. The electric car will be equipped with two battery options, the capacity of which in the first case will be 14.4 kW / h, and in the second 30 kW / h.
The developers claim that the vehicle has a quick charge function that allows you to do this in 40 minutes up to 80%. Also, in good sunny weather, charging can be done using solar panels located on the body of an electric vehicle. There are 330 photocells on the doors and roof of the car, which are protected from bad weather and various damages.
At this time, the German company Sono Motors already has 200 thousand dollars to start production of Sion. Orders for this electric car also continue to be accepted, and if this figure reaches 5,000, the first customers will be able to receive their cars in a year and a half.
