Jeep is preparing to release a new crossover

In the spring of this year under the motor show in Shanghai was a model of the conceptual crossover Jeep Yuntu. Today it became known that this car could be mass-produced.

The engineers at Jeep are going to start serial production of seven-seater crossover model Yuntu. At least, this is evidenced by spy photos, made in the USA. It is suggested that the novelty does not differ from the conceptual version. Most likely, the crossover will retain a like the overall style of the exterior and shape of some parts: grille, headlights,side pillars.

About the technical characteristics at the moment nothing is reported. The basic platform for the car will be the design of the model Jeep Grand Cherokee, which will introduce hybrid performance powertrain. Since the presentation of the concept took place in China, it can be assumed that the new product will be made with reference to this market.

At this time Jeep Yuntu tested in the USA, the pictures were taken near the office of the joint venture by the FCA. Foreign experts predict that the performance of a serial crossover will be no earlier than next year.
