
BMW X5 2019 will get upgraded engines

The future generation SUV BMW X5 2019 model year will receive a new range of engines, among which will be a place for the diesel version.
German insiders reported that the future generation of the popular SUV BMW X5 will receive the new petrol engines, which will be the maximum of revision and modernization. It is known that the motors will retain their working volume, the turbocharger system and the cylinders.
Thus, the power unit with the series arrangement of cylinders volume of 3 liter was given a new designation – B58TU. Its capacity will be 335 "horses", and it will be installed on the modification xDrive40i and sDrive40i. TwinPower Turbo technology will also remain unchanged.
Another petrol engine capacity of 4.4 liter V-shaped arrangement of eight cylinders installed on the model of the BMW xDrive50i. It will set the number N63. There is speculation that this motor, its characteristics will match the engine that is used in the model M550i capacity 465 liters. However, there is another opinion that all new motors are not borrowed from current models of the company.
The diesel range of engines will appear consisting of three units, where the powerful 400-horsepower will get xDrive50d, and the weakest to 265 l with prepared for variations xDrive30d. The middle link in this "chain" – xDrive40d – get a unit with a capacity of 320 liters.
