VW T4 Tuning Parts — Page 33

Tuning for the VW T4 Transporter (1990–2003) at DD Tuning includes CAN stainless-steel bull bars and rear bars, aluminum side steps, roof rails and crossbars, fiberglass body kits for painting, bumper covers, headlight brows, deflectors, winter grille covers, mud flaps, chrome trims, and model-specific floor mats. For front-end parts, the key thing is the front type: straight (square headlights, flat hood) or slanted, the “sloped front” (angled headlights, inclined hood).

What to check on your T4 before ordering

The model year isn’t enough for T4 front-end parts — compare the headlights and hood, and if in doubt, send the manager a photo of the car from the front. Passenger versions have a separate page VW T4 Caravelle / Multivan; next-generation parts are on the VW T5 page — they are not interchangeable with the T4.

Exterior tuning and restyling for the T4

In the VW T4 body kits section you’ll find Meliset fiberglass parts for painting: front and rear bumper overlays, a grille lip, Isikli roof spoiler, Anatomico door spoilers, and spoilers for barn doors; they are bonded using automotive glass adhesive/sealant. Ready to install without painting: ABS rear bumper covers by EuroCap and ESA with self-adhesive backing, fender flares (4 pcs, stainless steel or black plastic), headlight brows for straight and slanted hoods, and windshield sun visors. T4 lighting can be upgraded with GPlast fog lights with an LED bulb. Body kit installation is available through DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers — your manager will point you to the nearest one.

Bull bars, side steps, and roof rack

• CAN stainless-steel front bars: WT003 Plus-1 with horns, WT003 (60 or 50 mm, with or without lettering), WT003 Plus-2, WT002, WT022, Kelebek WT011, ST006 and Black finishes, plus low tubes ST008, ST007, and ST010 under the bumper.
• Rear bars AK002, AK003-2, and rear corner guards AK003, AK003-Double.
• Side steps — aluminum Erkul steps in different designs (Maya, Fullmond, Allmond, New Vision, RedLine, Duru, Maydos) and stainless-steel side tubes.
• Roof rails in chrome and black by Digital Designs — for short or long wheelbase, with plastic or metal feet; the brackets are bonded with glass adhesive/sealant, then the rails are bolted on.
• Crossbars Wizard V1, WingCarrier V1, Skybar V1, Can V1, roof rack with crossbars and a 125 × 200 cm net — in the roof racks for VW T4 section.

All bars and steps are collected in the VW T4 bull bars & side steps section.

Deflectors, winter covers, and mud flaps

The T4 hood deflector is selected by headlight type: EuroCap V1 is for straight headlights, while HIC is made separately for straight and slanted fronts. HIC window deflectors come as stick-on and in-channel versions — all in VW T4 deflectors. The upper and lower winter grille covers are produced separately for straight and slanted fronts, in matte ABS or gloss finish. Mud flaps include the Cagatay “OE-style” set (4 pcs), Premium Pryn Auto rubber, and Meliset fiberglass.

Interior, mats, and chrome

Model-specific floor mats for the T4 include 2-piece EVA mats for the cab, rubber Polytep mats, and rear mats for the passenger area. For the dashboard, Meric trims are available in wood, carbon, aluminum, or titanium look — separately for 1991–1995, 1996–1999, and 1999–2003 dashboards — plus dash-top shelves. Among chrome trims by Carmos and Omsa Line you’ll find covers for door handles, mirrors, the rear bumper, tail lights, the fuel flap, and the tailgate edge.
