BMW plans to release a new crossover X8

Recently it became known that the German car brand BMW is considering the establishment of another crossover. This time new model will be the flagship in a car company's lineup and will be called the X8.

According to representatives of BMW, currently is considering a proposal to develop a sports crossover X8. The car will compete with such models as Audi Q8 and the Range Rover Velar, and in the top-end performance will be good competition for such SUV as Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Lamborghini Urus and the Bentley Bentayga.

Official information about what will be the new SUV BMW X8, has not yet been disclosed. Many experts are of the opinion that the novelty will postrate on the platform model X7 and exterior of the car will produce in the style of the cross coupe. Such a solution has already been used by engineers in creating the models X6 and X4, which are based on the designs of the X5 and X3.

If the leadership of the brand decided to create a new crossover, its appearance may be expected in 2020. The Assembly machine will be implemented at the plant in Spartanburg, North America. In addition, we can assume that the future BMW X8 equipped with different engines, including a hybrid setup. The list of internal equipment will be filled with the most modern and useful technologies.
