VW Golf Mk5 Tuning — Page 35

For Volkswagen Golf 5 (2003–2009), DD Tuning offers GTI and R32 body kit sets, front lips, side skirts and DPT spoilers, projector headlights with LED running lights, LED tail lights, stainless-steel chrome trims, window deflectors, custom-fit floor mats, armrests and dashboard trim panels. Before choosing, make sure you know the body type — hatchback (HB), wagon (SW) or 3‑door — and for body kits also the bumper type: standard or GTI/R32.

What depends on the Golf 5 body type

Trunk mats, wind deflectors, rear bumper protectors and winter covers differ between the hatchback and the wagon. If you’re unsure, send the manager a rear photo of your car.

Body kits and lighting

In Golf 5 body kits you’ll find the GTI body kit set and the R32 set (GBT, composite polypropylene (PP), paintable, mounts to OEM points), DPT lips and rear diffusers, paintable spoilers and gloss black versions, plus fender flares in ABS matte black or stainless steel. Before painting, parts should be test-fitted and panel gaps aligned; you can install the kit at DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers — the manager will advise the nearest one. Fender flares are bonded with glass adhesive/sealant; glue is not included.

In automotive lighting — Black projector headlights and Silver front lights with LED running lights (both are 2 pcs, OEM headlight connector, compatible with xenon or LED bulbs), LED tail lights, and fog lights with inserts for the hatchback.

Chrome trims, window deflectors and winter cover

• Stainless-steel chrome trims: for door handles, handle bowls, door pillars, window surrounds, fuel flap, Carmos V1/V2 and Flexill door sills, OmsaLine rear bumper protector (matte or gloss), and the trunk edge — Carmos made from Turkish steel or OmsaLine from Italian stainless steel. The trunk edge strip sticks to the lower edge of the tailgate, not the bumper.
• Window deflectors for 4 windows — HIC, Sunplex Sport and Sunplex Chrome, Cobra, Niken with a chrome molding, and in-channel Niken Luxury; stick-on types mount with double-sided tape.
• Winter grille cover for the hatchback — matte or gloss, attaches with hooks.

Interior, floor mats and trunk

In interior accessories — armrests with type-1 and type-2 adapters, Niken Luxury and console-mounted versions, a gear knob and boot for a 6-speed gearbox, an aluminum shift knob, and Meric self-adhesive dashboard trim: carbon, wood, piano black, aluminum or titanium. The armrest adapter type depends on your center console, so compare it with the product photos. Floor mats: Stingray Premium rubber, Polytep, Polytep with raised edge, and Niken 3D, plus EVA in black, gray and beige with round or oval clips; the rear bridge piece is sold separately. For the roof — cross bars for standard roof rails and Asaf bars for a smooth roof.
