What is included in the bumper set?

It depends on the item. A basic bumper is a plastic base without grilles and caps, while a bumper assembly already includes grilles and other elements listed in the product name. The exact contents are shown in the photos and in the “Contents” field on the product page.

Does the bumper need to be painted?

Most plastic bumpers are supplied unpainted — they are painted to match the body color before installation. Dakar metal bumpers have a black coating, and original Mercedes G-class bumpers are available in white and black.

How do I know whether the bumper will fit my car?

Select the make and model in the filter and check the production years in the product name: bumpers before and after facelifting differ. For some models, the body type and trim level are also important. If you are unsure, send the manager the VIN code or photos of the car.

Can I install a newer-design bumper on an older production year?

For some models, facelifting bumpers and facelift kits are available, which convert the car to the design of the newer version. It is better to replace the front and rear bumper in the same style, otherwise the car will look unfinished.

Can bumper mounting parts be bought separately?

Yes, for some models brackets, guides, retainers, and bumper absorbers are sold separately. Some small items, such as the towing hook cover for an M-bumper, are not sold separately — only together with the bumper.

How is the Dakar heavy-duty bumper different from a regular one?

Dakar bumpers are metal and reinforced, made for pickup trucks — Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi L200, Nissan Navara, Ford Ranger. Some front bumpers have an integrated engine underguard. They are installed in the factory mounting points.
