Prepare the roof surface: Before installation, clean the mounting areas on the roof of the Chevrolet Equinox 2018-2025 of dust and dirt. The surface must be dry before applying the glass adhesive sealant.
Test-fit the roof rails: Position the gray OEM roof rails in the correct place and check how they fit against the roof. This will help properly align the installation kit before securing it.
Apply the adhesive sealant: Use the glass adhesive sealant at the mounting points. Apply it evenly to ensure the roof rails are secured to the roof.
Secure the roof rails: Install the aluminum + plastic roof rails in the prepared locations and press them against the surface. After installation, leave them until the sealant fully sets.
Check the installation: After completing the installation, make sure the roof rails are securely held and do not shift. Only then can they be used as part of the roof rack/cross bars.
