The French will release the electric SUV premium

Another electric crossover will see the world in 2019. This time it will be French premium model DS, which belongs to the group PSA.

According to the head of the British representative of the French brand Stephen Le Huvila, the new crossover will be all-electric and will compete with such a model as the Audi Q2. He also added that in the near future the company DS replenish its ranks with six new vehicles, of which four will belong to the SUV class.

In the spring of 2019 it is planned to introduce the DS model 7 Crossback, and later, the car will get a hybrid modification. This car can on a single charge to cover the distance 60 km.

In the same 2019, the French will present an all-electric cross concept which will be shown in one of the showrooms next year. About the name of the new company management has not yet reported. It is only known that the model will be the main rival to the German crossover Audi Q2. Thus, we can assume that the basic parameters will be approximately equal.

Development strategy the joint venture of PSA lies in the fact that all the produced models have an electric version. But this is not surprising, because many brands strive to develop electrical component of your car.
