Frequently asked questions
Will a chrome trim replace a broken handle or mirror cover?
No. The trim is mounted over an intact factory part and can only cover wear within its own area. A broken handle, mirror cover, or molding needs to be replaced as a part.
Is a chrome trim made of metal?
Not necessarily: “chrome” describes the look. The catalog includes trims made of stainless steel, ABS plastic, and carbon. The material of each item is listed in the product specifications.
Will a trim from a different year or body type, or a universal one, fit?
Not automatically. Check the model, generation, facelift, and body type, and for handles and mirrors — cutouts for the key, button, sensor, repeater, and camera. Compare a universal part with the factory one by size and shape.
How are chrome trims attached?
Most model-specific trims are self-adhesive — the installation type is listed in the specifications. Some parts, including wheel arch trims, are attached with sealant, clips, or another method depending on the product.
Can I buy a single trim from a set?
Not always: trims are sold individually, in pairs, or as a set, and the number of parts is indicated in the product name. Before ordering, count how many handles, doors, or arches need to be covered.
This is the term for black trim instead of shiny chrome. The section includes black versions of some trims, for example wheel arch trims — the color is indicated in the product name.
