In addition, you can significantly improve the attractiveness and recognition of the car with the help of tuning accessories, the assortment of which is available in our catalog.
Tool
Carbofilm can be glued in two ways: wet or dry. We will consider the first option.
For work you will need:
- Degreaser;
- Lint-free rags;
- Hair dryer;
- Cutting tool (scissors, knife);
- Squeegee with plastic or felt nozzle;
- Soap solution;
- Spray;
- Sealant.
Process
The work should be performed in the following sequence:
- Initially, you need to take measurements and cut out a certain piece of film;
- The surface to be glued must be cleaned of dirt and degreased;
- Next, pour the soap solution into a spray bottle and spray it on the required surface area;
- Then we remove the protective backing film from the material;
- Apply the soap solution evenly to the adhesive side of the carbon film;
- Gently and slowly apply the film to the surface of the car;
- We align the material with a squeegee, moving from the center to the edges; you cannot pull the film;
- Dry the surface with a hairdryer and repeat the movements with a squeegee;
- Remove excess film residues with a knife or scissors;
- It will be useful to glue the edges with a sealant.
Important: after the work done, the car must stand in a warm garage for at least a day. Also, you cannot wash the vehicle with a contactless wash during the next week.
