Canadians plan to release an electric sports car

Canadian car company Dubuc Motors is ready to start producing an electric sports car called the Tomahawk. The engineers of this company have been developing this model for five years.

For the first time the car of Canadian engineers appeared three years ago. However, only now the designers of the Canadian firm can publicly present this electric car. In addition, the car is planned to be put into mass production. According to the latest tests, the electric car was modernized, improved aerodynamic performance and supplemented with software.

Canadian automakers say that a few years later, the new car has become the embodiment of all those ideas that were planned to be implemented in a future electric car. Dubuc Tomahawk will be the vehicle that will contain all the innovative technologies that are inherent in today's electric sports car.

The car received an electric motor for each axle, the total power of which is 800 horsepower. The battery capacity is 100 kW/h. Acceleration to the first "hundred" is no more than three seconds, and the maximum speed is 260 km / h. The range of the trip without recharging is 595 km.

Other features include vertically opening doors, a removable roof and a 2+2 seating formula. The car is also equipped with the latest multimedia system with a large touch screen.

In total, it is planned to produce 1,000 such electric vehicles. At the moment, it is already possible to make an advance payment, and the car itself, the cost of which is 125 thousand dollars, will arrive at the customer at the beginning of next year.
