Lexus GX460 2009-2023 Facelift Kit 2010-2013 to 2021

The restyling kit converts the first-design Lexus GX460 (J150 body) from model years 2010–2013 to the look of the 2021 model. The entire front and rear are changed: bumpers, headlights, grille, fog lights, repeaters, reflectors, and rear lamps. What’s included in the kit

DD Tuning restyling kits are assembled from parts made by two manufacturers — GBT and 1234 Upgrade. In this set, the bumpers (polypropylene), diffusers and overlay (ABS plastic) are from GBT, while the headlights, grille, fog lights, reflectors, repeaters, lamps and mounting hardware are from 1234 Upgrade. The emblem is not included in the bill of materials: it is transferred from the factory grille.

Which GX460 it’s designed for

The kit is made for the 2010–2013 body. On it, the restyling headlights, grille, fog lights and repeaters fit only together with the new front bumper, and the 2013–2023 rear lamps — together with the new rear bumper. That’s exactly why the kit includes both bumpers: separately, these parts won’t fit the old front end.

All parts in the kit are also compatible with the restyled 2013–2023 body. But if you have a 2013–2020 GX460, a full conversion isn’t needed: for the 2021 look, a set of headlights and grille is enough. If the vehicle has already been converted, rely on the bumper and headlights actually installed rather than the year in the documents — a photo of the front end is more reliable here than the VIN.

Painting and installation

The bumpers and the front diffuser come primed, ready for painting in body color. Before painting, the parts are test-fitted on the vehicle to set the panel gaps, and only then is the surface prepared. If the vehicle has parking sensors or headlight washers, check the locations for them in the new bumper in advance. New headlights with AFS are best connected together with an auto electrician: they will verify the connectors and the operation of the adaptive lighting specifically on your vehicle.

Each part from the kit is also available as a separate product — convenient if part of the conversion has already been done or you need to replace a single element.
