Can a 2008–2011 LX570 be converted to look like a newer model?

Yes. There are kits for 2008–2012 → 2012–2016 (Standart and F-Sport), a mini restyling in TRD Sport with a front bumper and Full LED headlights, and full TRD Superior and TRD Sport kits. Headlights and grilles from 2012 on pre-facelift models are installed only together with a new bumper.

Do the rear fenders need to be replaced during a TRD restyling?

Not necessarily. In the GBT TRD Superior 2016–2020 and TRD Sport 2021+ kits, the rear lights are adapted for the old fenders, and an adapter is used for the tailgate. The 1234 Upgrade kit “TRD 2021 with rear fender replacement” is a full rear-end conversion: new fenders with quarter windows, tailgate, and rear window.

Are the kit parts already painted? Who installs them?

Wald bumpers, trim pieces, and body kits are supplied for painting: the parts are first test-fitted on the car and the gaps are adjusted, then painted to match the body color. The kit can be installed at the DD Tuning network of certified service centers — the manager will suggest the nearest one, and the headlights are connected by an auto electrician.

Will AFS work in the new headlights?

In 2012–2015 headlights in the 2020 design, the AFS function does not work. Check the capabilities of other headlights in the product specifications, and entrust the connection and checking of the headlight leveler to an auto electrician.
