A dashboard trim set is a kit of decorative elements that stick on top of the factory plastic on the dash, center console, and door cards, changing the look to wood, carbon, titanium, aluminum, or piano black. The category includes 430+ models — from Golf 2 and Opel Vectra B to Vito W447 and Sprinter W907: passenger cars, vans (Trafic, Vivaro, Ducato, Transit, Crafter, T4–T6), and trucks (DAF, Scania, MAN, Volvo FH). The main manufacturer is Meric (Turkey): flexible silicone self-adhesive trims with a choice of finish on the product page. Also available are real carbon inserts by DDCarbon and GBT, 1234 Upgrade interior refresh kits, and stainless-steel trims by Omsa Line.

What’s the difference between wood, carbon, titanium, and aluminum trims?
In Meric trim, these are finish names, not materials: the base is the same for all — flexible silicone with an adhesive layer. Wood is a brown walnut pattern (the most popular for vans); carbon is a gray-black weave; titanium is dark gray with a speckled texture; aluminum is a solid light gray. Some models also have “piano black” — glossy black. Check the shade by the photos on the product page: wood finishes can be lighter or darker. Real carbon fiber is only used in DDCarbon and GBT inserts — this is stated in the product name.
How to choose dashboard trims for your car
- Make, model, and years — use the “Make / Model” filter and the year range in the product title.
- Generation and facelift — Vito W638 and W639, Sprinter 903 and 906 use different sets; after a facelift the console may change even within the same years, so for transition years compare your dashboard shape with the photos.
- Equipment level — A/C vs climate control, head unit type, number of buttons, and glovebox presence affect cutouts; sets for specific trims are marked in the title.
- Transmission and steering side — usually the same set fits manual and automatic; nothing is applied to the gear lever; layouts are provided for left-hand drive.
- Not sure? Send a photo of your dashboard — we’ll match it to the layout before shipping.
What’s included, and can I buy just one piece?
The set contents are shown in the layout on the product page: for passenger cars this usually covers the head unit area, climate controls, vents, and window switch buttons; for vans there are small dashboard sets and full interior sets including doors. Door card pieces are not always included in the base kit, so check the list, not just the first photo. Sets are sold only as complete kits: individual pieces are not sold separately, so keep the layout until installation is finished.
How to install dashboard trims yourself
- Don’t disassemble the interior: test-fit each piece without removing the protective film and check cutouts for buttons and vents.
- Clean the surface from dust and polishes and degrease it; remove old trim together with any adhesive residue.
- Work in a warm environment: adhesive bonds better on warm plastic. A hair dryer isn’t required, but light heating on curved areas makes the silicone more pliable.
- Remove the protective film, align the piece using the layout, and press from the center to the edges; don’t wash the dashboard for the first few hours.
A clean, degreased surface is the main condition for the trims to hold up in hot weather.
What else is available for the interior?
- Interior restyling — console refresh kits.
- Dashboard shelves — a separate product, not decorative trim.
- All categories — Interior car accessories.
