Installing Paradigm Black Knight V2 on a BMW X7 G07 M-Sport
The BMW X7 G07 in M-Sport trim already has a bold factory design, so when refining it, it’s important to choose parts that complement the OEM body kit rather than completely changing its concept. In this project, a Paradigm Black Knight V2 kit designed specifically for M-Sport vehicles was installed on a 2019–2022 BMW X7 G07.
For the work, the Paradigm Black Knight V2 body kit for BMW X7 G07 was used. The goal was to highlight the lower part of the body and give the vehicle a more individualized look without replacing the factory M-Sport bumpers.
The work was carried out in Chernivtsi at the partner certified service center ZUBRYN AUTO STUDIO.
What’s included in the Paradigm Black Knight V2 concept?
Paradigm Black Knight V2 is a set of exterior elements that installs over, or as an addition to, the factory M-Sport styling of the BMW X7 G07. The main emphasis is on the lower part of the body: the front bumper, side areas, and rear end.
Unlike a full restyling, there’s no need to replace the main body panels here. The factory BMW design remains recognizable, while the new parts add sharper contours and create a cohesive look around the entire vehicle.
Why does the kit have to be selected specifically for M-Sport?
One of the key points is compatibility with the specific bumper type. The BMW X7 G07 was produced in different trims, and the geometry of the standard and M-Sport bumpers differs.
The Paradigm Black Knight V2 kit in this project was selected specifically for the 2019–2022 M-Sport version. This matters because the shape of the front lip, side pieces, and rear elements must match the vehicle’s factory geometry.
Before ordering, you also need to verify the model year. The facelifted BMW X7 G07 LCI uses a different front-end design, so a kit for the pre-facelift version can’t be chosen by model name alone.
BMW X7 front end with Black Knight V2
The front element of the kit mounts in the lower area of the M-Sport bumper and visually continues its geometry. Thanks to this, the front end looks lower and wider without replacing the bumper itself.
For the large X7 body, this is important: small universal lips can simply get lost on the vehicle, whereas a model-specific part follows the bumper shape and works across its full width.
Before final fastening, the lip should be test-fitted, aligned to the vehicle’s centerline, and checked for equal fitment on the left and right.
Paradigm side elements
The side part of the kit continues the line of the front lip along the body. On the BMW X7, this helps visually connect the front and rear sections into a single composition.
During installation, it’s especially important to position the parts correctly relative to the factory side sills. They must sit symmetrically and not create a height difference between the left and right sides.
A complete installation delivers a better result than fitting only the front lip: the vehicle changes not in one spot, but along the entire lower body line.
Rear end in Black Knight style
The rear elements complement the M-Sport bumper and complete the overall concept. On the massive rear of the BMW X7, they help emphasize the lower section and support the design of the front and side elements.
During installation, it’s important to control symmetry relative to the bumper, exhaust system, and other trim pieces. If the kit is installed unevenly, it’s especially noticeable when viewing the vehicle straight from the rear.
How was the kit installed?
Installation starts with a full test fit of all parts. The technicians check compatibility with the M-Sport bumpers, mounting points, joints, and overall geometry.
Then each element is positioned in its place. The front lip must be precisely centered, the side parts must run parallel to the body, and the rear elements must be evenly positioned relative to the bumper.
Only after the entire kit is checked is final fastening performed. This sequence helps avoid a situation where one part is installed correctly but doesn’t line up with the other elements.
Why is a pre-fit important?
Paradigm Black Knight V2 consists of several parts, so the result depends on how accurately they are aligned relative to each other.
A pre-fit allows you to check fitment before final mounting, assess panel gaps, and, if necessary, adjust the position of individual elements.
For the BMW X7, this is especially important due to the large body dimensions: even a small height difference or offset is clearly visible along the long lines of the bumpers and sills.
Price of the Paradigm Black Knight V2 kit and installation
The price of the Paradigm Black Knight V2 kit for BMW X7 G07 M-Sport in this project was 24,300 UAH. The cost of installing the complete kit was 9,000 UAH.

What changed after installation?
After installing Black Knight V2, the lower section of the BMW X7 became more pronounced around the entire perimeter of the body. The front lip, side elements, and rear section work as one kit rather than as separate tuning parts.
- the lower line of the front M-Sport bumper is emphasized;
- the side elements connected the front and rear parts of the body;
- the rear bumper gained additional accents;
- the factory M-Sport bumpers remained on the vehicle;
- the kit can be installed without a full body restyling.
Who is Paradigm Black Knight V2 for?
The kit is suitable for owners of a pre-facelift BMW X7 G07 2019–2022 with M-Sport who want to change the vehicle’s appearance without switching to LCI and without replacing the factory bumpers.
It’s also a logical option for staged tuning. Later, the kit can be complemented with other parts in a similar style—such as a spoiler, mirror caps, carbon elements, or new wheels.
Paradigm Black Knight V2 installation result
In this project, the BMW X7 G07 received a comprehensive upgrade of the lower body section while retaining the factory M-Sport styling. The new elements emphasized the front bumper, extended the line along the side sills, and finished off the rear of the vehicle.
For a kit like this, the main thing is to correctly identify the BMW X7 version, make sure the vehicle is equipped with a compatible M-Sport bumper, and perform a complete test fit before final fastening. This is what makes it possible to install all elements evenly and achieve a cohesive result.
