When and where the 2026 Paris Motor Show takes place
The venue is unchanged — the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition complex in the south of Paris. The show occupies 70,000 m² across five halls plus another 15,000 m² outdoors, where the test-drive area and an autonomous-vehicle площадка are in operation. The schedule is as follows:
- 12 October (Monday) — accredited press only; premieres and press conferences take place on this day.
- 13–15 October (Tuesday–Thursday) — open to visitors from 9:30 to 20:00.
- 16 October (Friday) — from 9:30 to 22:00, the first evening session.
- 17 October (Saturday) — from 9:00 to 22:00, the second evening session.
- 18 October (Sunday) — from 9:00 to 18:30, closing.
A weekday ticket costs €20, weekends €22, an evening session €17, and a concession ticket €13. The previous 2024 show drew 508,007 visitors; Renault Group, in its announcement, is counting on the same 500,000 this year.
Who is taking part and who won’t be there this time
The participant list is longer than two years ago: according to the organizers and L'argus, both French groups — Renault Group and Stellantis — will have their own stands, as well as Volkswagen, Skoda, Cupra, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, smart, Volvo, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Honda and Toyota. Mercedes-Benz returns for the first time since 2018, Volvo after a 12-year break, Honda after eight. There are around twenty Chinese brands — from BYD and Chery to XPeng, Geely and Zeekr.
Who won’t be there: BMW and Mini officially declined to participate in July 2026 — after a profit warning, the group reviewed its spending. Also missing are Porsche, Ferrari, Nissan and Seat. Toyota is present only with an innovation stand in Hall 5.1, without a full model display.
What the French brands will show: Renault, Dacia, Alpine and Stellantis
Renault Group takes 5,000 m² in Hall 6 and promises six new items, four of them concept cars. The concept names have not been disclosed ahead of Press Day; the media expects retro concepts based on Renault 4 and Renault 5 among them. The Renault stand features 22 electrified vehicles including Twingo E-Tech, Renault 4 E-Tech and Renault 5 E-Tech, while Renault Pro+ will show the new electric Trafic E-Tech.
Dacia is bringing two real new products. The first is the new second-generation Spring, unveiled on 8 September 2026: RGEV platform, 27.5 kWh battery, range up to 250 km (WLTP), 60 kW (80 hp), 0–100 km/h in 12.1 s, production in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. In Paris it will be shown to the public for the first time. The second is the estate-crossover Striker, which we have already covered separately: Dacia Striker — a new budget estate.
Alpine on 28 September revealed a veiled sculpture that conveys the proportions of the future third-generation A110 on the new Alpine Performance Platform. The sculpture itself will be displayed on the stand in Paris; Alpine is not yet showing the production car and has not named a launch date. Nearby will be the A290 and A390.
Stellantis has taken the show’s largest stand — 5,340 m² in Hall 4, with more than 60 vehicles and nine concept cars from eight brands. International premieres officially named: the DS N°7 electric crossover, Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, Lancia Gamma, Leapmotor B03 and D19, Opel Corsa GSE. Citroën will show the new 2CV concept — an electric city car with a target price up to €15,000 and start of production in 2028 at the plant in Pomigliano d'Arco; Citroën announced the model’s return on 23 May 2026. Peugeot will display the Polygon concept with Hypersquare steering wheel and the production e-208 GTi. The next-generation 208, which the press expects in autumn 2026, is not listed among Paris’s official premieres.
Which premieres the German, Korean and Japanese brands are preparing
Hyundai confirmed in a press release on 21 September: a world premiere of a new B-segment crossover, a European premiere of a C-segment crossover, a sport version of one of its key models, and its first fully electric light commercial vehicle. The press conference is on 12 October at 15:05 in Hall 5.2. Hyundai does not name the models, but the media is unanimous: the B-SUV is the new generation Bayon, and the C-SUV is the fifth-generation Tucson, already shown in Korea on 18 September.
Kia (Hall 6) is bringing the Seltos hybrid crossover and the K4 sedan and wagon for their French premieres. Honda is building its comeback around the new Prelude e:HEV and a hybrid lineup of six models.
Audi is showing the A2 e-tron to the public for the first time — a compact rear-wheel-drive EV unveiled in Paris on 7 September: 125–240 kW (170–326 hp), three batteries of 52, 61 and 84 kWh, up to 646 km WLTP, priced in France from €38,600. According to Auto Motor und Sport, the same stand will also host the European premiere of the large Q9 crossover.
Mercedes-Benz back in February announced a stand with the new CLA, GLB, electric GLC, electric C-Class, new S-Class and the VLE electric minivan; ahead of the show, Caradisiac writes about five world premieres, including the third-generation GLA and the electric Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door. smart is holding the world premiere of the two-seat electric #2 — the successor to the Fortwo; the company promises to reveal specifications at the show. Volkswagen will show the already unveiled ID. Polo and ID. Cross, Skoda the electric Epiq and seven-seat Peaq, Cupra the Raval hot hatch, Volvo the EX60 and ES90.
What the Chinese brands will bring
There are roughly as many Chinese manufacturers in Paris as European ones, and for Chery, Omoda & Jaecoo, Lynk & Co and XPeng it is their first Paris show. BYD is not planning world premieres and will show fresh models: the Dolphin G DM-i plug-in hybrid, Atto 3 and Atto 2 DM-i. Premium Denza is bringing the Z9 GT wagon, the Bao 5 off-roader and the Z electric coupe. Leapmotor, as part of the Stellantis stand, is showing the B03 compact EV and the D19 seven-seat flagship with a petrol generator. Chery is exhibiting the Tiggo 4, 7 and 8 hybrid lineup, Geely the E2 compact electric crossover and the Monjaro hybrid, XPeng the G9L crossover, Li Auto the i6 electric crossover. Changan is represented by the Deepal, Avatr and Nevo brands — we previously wrote about Deepal S07.

Which Paris newcomers will make it to Ukraine, and when
The Paris show is European in its lineup, so most of its new products are relevant to our market too — the only question is timing. The quickest to appear will be cars that are already sold in Europe and in Paris are only making their public debut: ID. Polo, ID. Cross, Skoda Epiq and Peaq, Cupra Raval, Audi A2 e-tron, the new Mercedes CLA and GLB — they are worth expecting in official showrooms during 2027, and some examples will arrive earlier via private import. The new Dacia Spring and Striker are candidates for mass demand, because the first-generation Spring has already become one of the most affordable EVs in Ukraine. The Citroën 2CV concept will not reach production before 2028, and the third-generation A110 has not yet been shown as a car — it is too early to talk about them.
A separate story is the fifth-generation Hyundai Tucson and the new Bayon: for Ukraine these are two mass-market models, and it is exactly for them that model-specific tuning will appear the fastest. Until the new generation arrives, owners of the current Tucson NX4 can use the full range in the model section, and for any newly purchased new model that does not yet have model-specific accessories, there are universal mats, mud flaps and other universal products.
