Installing the Niken V2 spoiler on a Hyundai Accent 2011–2017
The Hyundai Accent 2011–2017 has a restrained factory design, so even one well-chosen part can noticeably transform the rear of the car. In this project, a paint-ready Niken V2 spoiler was installed.
For the job, we used the Niken V2 spoiler for Hyundai Accent 2011–2017. Before installation, the part was prepared, painted to match the car, and mounted on the trunk lid.
The work was carried out in Chernivtsi at the certified partner service station ZUBRYN AUTO STUDIO.
What does installing a spoiler on a Hyundai Accent do?
The spoiler changes the upper line of the trunk lid and makes the rear of the car look more finished. For the Hyundai Accent, it’s an easy way to refresh the exterior without replacing bumpers or installing a full body kit.
The Niken V2 model has a distinctive shape but doesn’t look overly bulky. That’s why it suits the Accent well, where it’s important to keep the proportions of a compact sedan.
Why is the spoiler supplied paint-ready?
The Niken V2 spoiler is supplied ready for further painting, which makes it possible to match the shade to a specific vehicle.
Before applying paint, the surface must be prepared: check the geometry, perform additional finishing if needed, apply primer, and match the body color.
This approach allows the spoiler to be integrated into the car’s design so it looks like part of the body rather than a separate add-on.
Test fit before painting
Before painting, the spoiler is обязательно test-fitted on the trunk lid. At this stage, its position, symmetry, and fit along the entire length are checked.
The test fit is needed to make sure the part sits correctly before painting. If adjustments are required, it’s better to do them before applying the paintwork.
It’s especially important to align the spoiler with the car’s centerline. Even a slight offset is clearly noticeable when viewed from the rear.
Painting the spoiler to match the body color
After the test fit, the part was prepared for painting. The shade was matched to the specific Hyundai Accent so the finished piece wouldn’t differ from the trunk lid and adjacent body panels.
After painting, the evenness of coverage and the quality of the clear coat are checked. This is especially important for a spoiler, as it sits in a highly visible area and is constantly exposed to direct light.
How did the installation go?
After the painting work was completed, the spoiler was test-fitted on the car again, its position was checked, and final fastening was done.
During installation, it’s important to ensure a tight fit and secure mounting. The spoiler should not shift, create unnecessary gaps, or vibrate while driving.
Installation quality affects not only appearance, but also the durability of the result.
Cost of the spoiler and the work
The cost of the Niken V2 spoiler for Hyundai Accent 2011–2017 was 1,620 UAH. The cost of painting and installation was 3,000 UAH.

What changed after installation?
After the spoiler was installed, the rear of the Hyundai Accent looked more complete. The trunk lid line changed, and the car gained a noticeable styling accent without major body modifications.
- the rear became more expressive;
- the spoiler is painted to match the car;
- the factory body proportions are preserved;
- the update didn’t require replacing the bumper;
- the part is integrated into the car’s overall design.
Who is this Hyundai Accent tuning for?
The Niken V2 spoiler is suitable for owners of the Hyundai Accent 2011–2017 who want to change the car’s appearance without installing a large body kit.
It’s also a good option for gradual tuning. Later, the car can be complemented with other elements—trim pieces, side skirts, wheels, or front-end parts.
Spoiler installation result
As a result, the Hyundai Accent received a neat exterior update with minimal interference to the body. The Niken V2 spoiler emphasized the trunk lid and made the rear of the car look more finished.
In a project like this, the key is proper test fitting, quality painting, and precise installation. These stages determine how naturally the new part will look on the car after installation.
