Nissan Patrol Y61 1997-2011 Clearance Rear Trim Strip (Plastic)

How it works

Prepare the surface

Before installing the rear trim strip on Nissan Patrol Y61 1997-2011, clean and degrease the mounting area. The surface must be dry so the adhesive backing holds properly.

Fit the trim strip

Bring one strip to the installation area and check that it sits evenly along the edge of the tailgate. This will help you immediately see the correct position before sticking it on.

Remove the protective layer

Carefully peel off the protective tape from the adhesive backing. Do not touch the adhesive layer with your fingers so as not to reduce its grip.

Install the trim

Align the rear trim strip evenly with the prepared area and press it firmly along the entire length. The pressure should be even, especially along the edges.

Secure after installation

After installation, press the trim again around the perimeter. Do not load the mounting area at first so that the adhesive layer can fully set.
