Review of the legendary SUV Mercedes-Benz G-Class new generation

Exterior

After the recent update, new Mercedes-Benz G-Class W464 significantly changed in appearance, but the traditional style of an SUV and angular appearance remained in place. Front round headlights with led content, a more streamlined bumper and signature grille with a three-beam star logo. The back side attracts the attention of a presence of a spare wheel, an opening in the side of the big door and miniature LED optics.

The lateral part of the legendary model demonstrates the regular side sills, slightly rounded wheel arches, the exterior mirrors are slightly different shape and the same rude door handles. Interior

Speaking about the interior of G it should be noted that the main attention is riveted by two color wide display merged into one panel. Salon G-Class gives only premium materials and the build quality does not cause any doubts. The front part of the interior is equipped with comfortable seats with increased lateral support and are electrically adjustable, and the rear is a three seater sofa with adjustable backrest.

For an SUV, while offering one engine:

• Petrol turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with 420 horsepower, mated to 9-speed automatic transmission (Euro 6);
• Later should appear the diesel engine capacity of 3.0 liters which produces 340 "horses".

The car is equipped with all-wheel drive, but driving qualities while the exact information is not available. Through the use of lighter parts in the body, primarily of aluminium, the model dropped in weight 170 pounds.
