Overview of the Uzbek budget sedan Ravon R4

This review proposes to take a closer look at the Uzbek-made Ravon R4 car, which recently appeared on the Ukrainian market. The car is produced in only one body version - a sedan.

Looking at the appearance of the car, you can say that it is tasteless, but it would be more correct, most likely, to say that it is not modern. At the same time, many experts notice its practicality in this car. But the main feature of the Ravon R4 is its price, which in the Ukrainian market is minimally about 244 thousand hryvnias ($9,000).

Particular attention should be paid to the useful volume of the luggage compartment, which is 543 liters. Yes, of course, the quality of finishing materials is low and cheap plastic is unattractive, but what can you demand for such money.

Getting into the interior of the car, the smell of synthetic materials is felt, but after a couple of weeks of using the car, it disappears. The driver's seat is height adjustable. When using it, the angle of inclination of the pillow changes. For a driver whose height does not exceed more than 180 cm, it is quite an acceptable option. The steering wheel is also height adjustable. Rear passengers, of course, in the shoulders will be a little cramped. But the distance from the knees to the front seats is quite enough. Salon Ravon R4 is made with good build quality.

There is an on-board computer, an audio system with good sound, an electronic speedometer and AUX and USB connectors, in some trim levels - roof arches . It's disappointing that an airbag is provided for the driver, but not for the passenger. Air conditioning is also offered in the more expensive version.

The engine is available in one version - a 1.5-liter with a capacity of 106 horsepower. Compared to competitors, this is an advantage. Indeed, as a rule, cars with such a volume have 10–20 “horses” less. Emission standards comply with the Euro-5 standard. Transmission options include a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic. According to the passport, fuel consumption with mechanics is 6.2 liters, and with automatics - 6.7 liters. Acceleration to the first hundred km / h with automatic transmission is 12.6 s, and with mechanical - 11.7 s.
