Frequently asked questions
How is a bull bar different from a front under-bumper guard?
A bull bar is a tall structure that covers the bumper and grille. A front guard (ST series), front bar, and “mustache” are low tubes in the lower front section without a high part above the grille. In ST014, for example, there are two connected tubes: a short upper one and a long lower one.
Do I need to drill the body to install a bull bar?
For model-specific products, the specifications indicate installation in the factory mounting points, and the kit includes installation hardware, so drilling the body is usually not required. It is better to entrust installation to a service station: mounting points can be under the bumper, on the frame, or on the side members.
Will a bull bar from a different car model fit?
No, it will not fit without modifying the brackets: the mounting is designed for a specific model and generation. Choose a product in the filter for your make, model, and year of manufacture.
Do front guards have ABE or TÜV certification?
No, these products do not have European certificates (ABE, TÜV). Requirements for front tubular guards vary from country to country, so check the rules in your country before buying.
Will the bar interfere with parking sensors?
It depends on the shape of the bar and the sensor location: a low tube is usually below them, while a high bar with an upper tube may block them. Send the manager a photo of the bumper — they will compare it with the product.
What is the difference between chrome and black (Black) front guards?
Chrome is polished stainless steel, Black is a black finish. For CAN products, the base and the black version are also stainless steel; for Omsa Line Texas and Vegas series, the material of the black versions is listed on the product page as black metal. See the product specifications for the exact material.
