Frequently asked questions
What material are the bumpers in body kits made of?
Full bumpers and body kits with bumpers are made of polypropylene (PP). Lip spoilers, diffusers, trims, spoilers, and side skirts are mostly made of ABS plastic; there is also fiberglass for painting and natural carbon.
Do body kits need to be painted?
Gloss black or matte parts are installed as is. Parts marked “for painting” should first be test-fitted, then prepared and painted in the body color.
Will a pre-facelift lip fit a facelift?
Not automatically: the lip and diffuser are matched to the bumper that is actually installed. For example, on the Mercedes W205, the 2018–2021 facelift bumper fits the 2014–2018 pre-facelift model, but in that case the lip needs to be from the facelift.
How is the body kit attached, and does it need drilling?
It depends on the part: in factory mounting points, with glass adhesive sealant, double-sided tape, clips, or bolts. The installation method and what is included in the kit are listed in the product specifications.
Will the parking sensors, camera, and washers stay?
Check the description to see whether the bumper has slots for the sensors, camera, and washers for your exact trim. The presence of a hole does not mean the sensors are included.
Can I buy just one part from the kit?
It depends on the product: some parts are sold separately, while others are only sold as a set. The kit contents are listed on the product page.
