Advantages of BiMast noise insulation materials

In our previous publications, you were able to get acquainted with the general data of BiMast soundproofing, as well as with soundproofing materials Vibroton . In this article, we invite you to find out the positive qualities of Bimast materials, as well as their technical characteristics.
Advantages of Bimast materials
- Increases structural rigidity (G steel 1.0 mm+ BiMast = G steel 1.2 mm. ). In this case, a significant decrease in the sensitivity of the plate to vibration is observed; the number of resonances decreases.
- When using Bimast Bomb, the coefficient of mechanical loss of materials reaches 0.4.
- Bimast Bomb and Bimast Super effectively absorb vibrations on metal with a thickness of 2 to 4 mm.
- Bimast materials, due to the high CMF and the effect of increasing stiffness, allow processing a smaller area (about 40-55%) of the surface, while increasing vibration absorption.
- Does not increase the mass of the car when processing a smaller surface; the effect of vibration absorption at the same time remains at a high level.
- It brings the greatest benefit in the most vibration-loaded areas: wheel arches, engine compartment, car floor, trunk, roof. KMP = 0.4.
- Thanks to the adhesive mastic base, it serves as an anti-corrosion coating.
- High elasticity allows in most cases to work without a heat gun. The exception is machined corners with a rounding of less than 30 mm.
- The material is easily cut with both a knife and scissors. At the same time, the tool does not get stuck in a thick mastic layer, as when working with Vibroplast.
- The absence of foil reduces the risk of injury during installation and cutting. When mounting foil material, hand cuts often occur.
- Counterfeit protection. The original packaging, the application of the StP and BiMast logos on the front layer increases the degree of protection against counterfeiting.
