Presented hot modification of the Volkswagen Golf R hatchback of the eighth generation

In November of this year, the official presentation of the "charged" hatchback Volkswagen Golf R of the eighth generation took place. The modification received a sports body kit and was awarded a powerful power unit. Exterior and interior

Compared to the base version, the Golf R 8 is visually distinguished by original bumpers, 19-inch wheels, four exhaust pipes, a diffuser, sporty skirts, chrome exterior mirrors and a stylishly designed radiator grille.

The interior of the car has a stylized design, among which are the pedals, sports seats and steering wheel, the use of Nappa leather and R-embroidery in the backs of the seats.

For the European market, the model will be equipped with a robotic transmission and a 4Motion drive system.

In addition, the car will have at its disposal two additional driving modes: Special and Drift, of which the latter, in a special way, sets up the all-wheel drive and stabilization system, which contributes to high-quality drifting.

Start of sales

In the North American market, the new Golf R will not appear on sale until mid-2021, and when the model will be released in Europe has not yet been reported. The cost of the car will be known immediately before the start of sales.
