Frequently asked questions
Will a pre-facelift grille fit a facelift version?
Usually not: during a facelift, the headlights, bumper, and grille mounting points change. Check the years in the product name and, if in doubt, send the manager the VIN or a front-end photo.
What should I do with the brand emblem?
The emblem is usually transferred from the original grille to the new one. Some grilles are made for an emblem, some are without one, and this is stated in the product name. If the emblem is shown in the photo, check whether it is listed in the “Contents” field.
Do I need to drill anything during installation?
No, model-specific grilles fit into the factory mounting points using the original mounts. Only universal mesh inserts require trimming and adjustment.
Are BMW kidney grilles sold as a pair or individually?
It varies: some sets include two kidneys, while some listings are for one piece. The quantity is specified in the product characteristics in the “Contents” field.
Will the new grille interfere with the camera or cruise control radar?
Check in the product photos that the grille has a place for your car’s camera or radar and that nothing blocks them. The equipment itself is not included — it is transferred from the original grille.
Are there grilles with lighting?
Yes, for some BMW, Audi Q7, Ford Ranger, Toyota Land Cruiser 200, and Mercedes-Benz models there are versions with LED. A grille with lighting and one without are different products, so choose the item with LED in the name.
How is a radiator grille different from a grille trim?
A complete grille fully replaces the original part. Trims — chrome strips, surrounds, or moldings — are fitted over a sound original grille, and the upper and lower trims are not interchangeable with each other.
