How not to mix up the A5 version

Octavia A5 was produced with two different front-end designs: pre-facelift (2006–2010) and facelift (2010–2013). For transition years 2009–2010, use the headlights, bumper and grille as your guide: pre-facelift headlights are more rectangular, while facelift headlights are longer and more rounded. This affects winter covers, mud flaps and wind deflectors. Two more notes:

• Octavia Tour is the previous A4 generation, not A5: its grille, rear spoiler and shifter boot are different;
• since 2013 the Octavia A7 has been produced – A5 parts do not carry over.

Liftback and wagon share the same front end, but have different rear doors and trunk, so choose wind deflectors, rear bumper trims and trunk mats for your body style. If the rear glass lifts together with the trunk lid, you have a liftback. If you’re unsure, send the manager a photo of your car.

Winter covers and installation

The upper winter cover blocks the grille near the badge, and the lower one blocks the opening in the bumper between the fog lights; these are two separate items and can be purchased together.
