• Hair dryer;
• Shampoo;

• Tinting film.

Process

Before work, you need to carefully inspect the glass that you plan to tint. If there are cracks, chips or irregularities on it, then it is better to refuse tinting. In addition, if the glass will be dismantled, then it is better to invite an assistant for this work.

The process should be performed in the following sequence:

• First of all, with the help of shampoo, the glass must be well cleaned of dust, then degreased.
• Then a pattern is cut from the film to size. In this case, it is necessary to make a margin of a couple of centimeters on each side.

Note: if the glass has a strongly convex shape, then it will be problematic to tint with one piece of film. In this case, several pieces of film are made, cut horizontally.

• Begin gluing from the top of the glass. Glass and film are thoroughly wetted.
• Then, from the film from top to bottom, you need to separate a part of the protective layer (about 1/3), glue the tint to the glass.
• Then another third part of the protective layer is separated, while the tint film is smoothed with a spatula. This is how the whole gluing process is carried out. If folds have formed, then they can be smoothed out with warm air from a hair dryer.
• After the film has been glued, it is necessary to cut off the allowance at the edges. If the glass was not removed, then about 3-5 mm of film is wound under the sealing gum.
• Finally, dry the film with a hair dryer.
