How to choose a fragrance for the car interior that won’t irritate?

The smell in the car plays an important role, creating an atmosphere of comfort and coziness. However, an incorrectly selected aroma can cause irritation, headaches and even drowsiness. How to choose the perfect smell for the interior that will delight, not annoy? We answer this question in this article. You can also improve your car and give it individuality by using tuning accessories, a wide range of which is available in our product catalog.

Types of car air fresheners

There are several types of car air fresheners:

• Cardboard pendants: the simplest and most affordable option, but the smell doesn't last long.
• Sachets: Bags of flavored granules or herbs. More durable than cardboard pendants.
• Sprays: allow you to adjust the intensity of the scent, but require periodic renewal.
• Liquid fragrances: are applied to the ventilation grille and spread the fragrance through the air flow.

How to choose the right fragrance?

When choosing a fragrance, several factors should be considered:

• Individual preferences: choose the scents you like.
• Intensity: Avoid scents that are too strong and obtrusive.
• Effect on well-being: Some scents can be invigorating (citrus), while others can be relaxing (lavender). Keep this in mind when choosing a scent for your car.
• Composition: prefer natural flavors that do not contain harmful chemicals.

Recommendations for choosing fragrances

• For vigor: citrus fruits (lemon, orange, grapefruit), mint, rosemary.
• For relaxation: lavender, chamomile, sandalwood.
• Neutral aromas: green tea, freshness, sea breeze.

What should be avoided?

• Too sweet and cloying aromas.
• Harsh and obtrusive odors.
• Fragrances that give you a headache or nausea.

A properly selected fragrance will create a pleasant atmosphere in your car and make your trips more comfortable.
