Frequently asked questions
Which trim should I choose — upper, lower, or both?
The upper one is installed on the radiator grille between the headlights, and the lower one is installed on the grille in the bumper; these are separate products. The upper one covers the main part of the radiator, and to cover it more fully, both are installed.
What is the difference between the matte trim and the gloss trim?
The matte one is made of ABS plastic, and scratches are less noticeable on it, so it is considered more practical. The gloss one is made of polystyrene, and it is chosen for a glossy grille or bumper. The version is selected by the parameter on the product page.
How do I choose a winter trim for my car?
Check not only the model year, but also the shape of the grille and bumper, the restyling, and the body type — the product card titles include the years and clarifications. A non-original trim is not selected by VIN code, so if in doubt, send the manager a photo of the front of the car.
Do I need to remove the factory grille for installation?
No. The trim is attached over the factory grille with hooks or ties from the kit; the type of attachment is specified in the product card specifications.
Won't the engine overheat with a winter trim?
The trim reduces the flow of cold air rather than blocking it airtight. Monitor the temperature gauge: during a thaw, under prolonged load, or if the needle rises above normal — remove the lower trim or both.
