The latest generation Honda Civic has changed a lot. The car is built on a new platform, and its length has increased by 13 cm. However, the most significant change is the emergence of new turbocharged engines. One of them has a working volume of 1.0 liters and a power of 129 horsepower. The second is a 1.5-liter with a capacity of 181 hp. Plastic body kits will give the car a more sporty and original appearance.

Fuel consumption with the smaller option in urban mode is 6.1 liters. The maximum speed is 203 km / h, and acceleration from zero to the first hundred takes 10.4 s. In the second case, the maximum speed is 220 km / h, fuel consumption is 7.4 liters. Both cars can be equipped with a manual 6-speed transmission or CVT.

It is also known that in the near future it is planned to supplement the engine range with a diesel 1.6-liter unit. But such an option is likely to appear closer to the end of this year.

Salon Honda Civic increased slightly in size, which added comfort. The quality of the materials is at a very good level, although in some places there is a slippery to the touch plastic. The vehicle is equipped with various auxiliary systems, including cruise control, a lane tracking function, a traffic sign recognition system, as well as the ability to link a multimedia system to a mobile device.

The new model is 4497 mm long, 1800 mm wide and 1421 mm high. The appearance of the car, although it received new solutions, is still recognizable. Honda Civic received massive bumpers with wide air intakes, which gives the car additional aggression.
