KIA has begun testing a new model of the Sedona minivan

The South Korean car brand KIA has begun testing a new model of the minivan Sedona/Carnival. Thus, the concern is trying not to lose the lion's share of the market in this segment. In the lens of European journalists got the first pictures of the new car under the camouflage.

This car in some countries is known under the name of Carnival. Despite the fact that the car is thoroughly concealed, the journalists were able to examine some elements of the van. Many experts report that the new model will be something similar on the KIA Sorento. The novelty has received a new grille and front optics other form.

However, this is not all the changes in the appearance of Sedona. Behind the machine has got led lights and a more compact bumper. As regards the range of engines, there is still uncertain. Some experts suggest that the novelty will receive a petrol unit with six-cylinder V-shaped arrangement.

This engine able to develop power equal to 275 horsepower, and its volume is 3.3 litres. Also there is speculation that the changes will affect the Carnival and transmission. The car will be equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission instead of the previous 6-speed. Date of presentation of the new model is not yet known.
