The BMW X5 F15 has a distinctive factory design, but even a few well-chosen details can make the vehicle noticeably sportier without installing a full body kit. In this project, the focus was on three elements: a front lip splitter, M-Look mirror caps, and a rear spoiler.
All parts are made in a sporty style and complement different areas of the body. The front lip makes the bumper more aggressive, the M-Look caps change the side profile, and the spoiler adds a finished look to the rear of the BMW X5.
The installation was carried out in Chernivtsi at the partner certified service station ZUBRYN AUTO STUDIO. The full set of work took one business day.
Front lip splitter for BMW X5 F15
The front end was upgraded with the DPT V2 front flap/lip splitter for BMW X5 F15 in gloss black.
The lower section of the front bumper has a strong impact on the overall perception of the vehicle. After installing the lip splitter, the bumper looks lower and visually wider, and the front end gains a more sporty character.
Gloss black pairs well with the kidney grilles, trim inserts, and other dark body elements. That’s why this splitter can work as a standalone upgrade or as part of a comprehensive BMW X5 F15 tuning package.
How does the front lip change the look of the X5 F15?
The standard front bumper of the BMW X5 F15 has a fairly massive shape, but an additional lower lip makes it more sculpted. The changes are especially noticeable when viewing the vehicle head-on and at an angle.

The M-Look shape features sportier geometry and signature protrusions. This design is associated with BMW M models and lets you add a sporty accent without replacing the entire mirror housing.
On the large X5 body, the mirrors are clearly visible from the side and front, so even a small change to their shape affects the car’s overall image.
Advantage of caps with clip-on mounting
This set uses caps with an OEM-style clip-on mounting system. This installation method allows you to replace the factory part without having to glue an additional cover over the stock housing.
Before installation, the factory cap is carefully removed, after which the mounting of the new part is checked. Proper fitting is important for a tight, rattle-free fit with even gaps.
After replacement, the mirrors look sportier, and the M-Look design complements the styling of the front lip splitter well.
Rear spoiler for BMW X5 F15
To complete the exterior look, the black DPT spoiler was installed. It became the main accent at the top of the rear and complemented the sporty details at the front and sides.
On crossovers, a spoiler has a strong effect on the rear profile. It extends the roofline, makes the rear more expressive, and gives the vehicle a more finished look when viewed from the side.
The black finish logically matches the glossy front splitter and other dark elements of the car. As a result, all installed parts work in one cohesive style.
Why is it better to install several parts as a package?
A standalone spoiler or mirror caps can change a specific area of the BMW X5, but a three-piece package creates a much more complete result.

How did the installation go?
Before installation, all parts were pre-fitted. The technicians checked the geometry of the front splitter, the fit of the mirror caps, and the position of the rear spoiler.
Special attention was paid to symmetry. The front lip splitter must sit evenly relative to the bumper, and the spoiler must be positioned precisely along the vehicle’s centerline.
The mirror caps were installed on the factory mounting points. After installation, the gaps and the reliability of the mounting of all three elements were checked.
The full package was completed within one business day.
Cost of BMW X5 F15 tuning
In this project, the cost of the DPT V2 front lip splitter was 3,803 UAH, the set of M-Look mirror caps was 1,800 UAH, and the black DPT spoiler was 2,475 UAH. The installation labor for the entire set totaled 5,000 UAH.

What changed after tuning the BMW X5?
After installing the three parts, the BMW X5 F15 gained a sportier and more cohesive look. The biggest advantage of this project is that the changes are noticeable across several areas of the body at once.
The front became more aggressive thanks to the lower splitter, the mirrors gained M-Look styling, and the spoiler made the rear more expressive. At the same time, the vehicle retained the standard bumpers and the main factory body lines.
Gloss black accents additionally tied the installed elements into a single style, so the finished result doesn’t look like a set of separate accessories.
