Peugeot RCZ Vision is a 2+2 electric coupe concept through which Peugeot brings back the RCZ name 11 years after production of the original ended. It was shown on the evening of October 11, 2026 at a Stellantis presentation and on October 12 at the Paris Motor Show stand. From the first RCZ, the concept borrows the “double” glass roof and the active rear spoiler, and technically it is a showcase of Peugeot’s future: the STLA One platform, 1,000 V architecture, a solid-state battery, 368 kW (about 500 hp) and up to 600 km of range. Peugeot has not announced a production version—Motor1 bluntly writes that it is “still a matter not decided”.
What Peugeot RCZ Vision is and how it resembles the old RCZ
The original RCZ grew out of the 308 RCZ concept shown in Frankfurt in 2007. The production coupe was assembled by contractor Magna Steyr in Graz (Austria) from late 2009 to September 2015; nearly 68 thousand cars were sold in total (67,916 as of the end of October 2017 according to Wikipedia). The most powerful version was the RCZ R with a 1.6-liter turbo engine producing 270 hp. The coupe never got a successor.
Peugeot calls the RCZ Vision an “emotional manifesto of the brand” and the “highest expression” of the new Feline Future design language. From the original, there are three recognizable things here:
- “Double-bubble” roof — two convex glass panels with a structural beam under the joint. The glass stretches from the top of the hood to the rear, and the “bubbles” provide extra headroom for rear passengers.
- Active rear spoiler near the base of the rear window: when parked it is hidden and deploys only in motion—just like on the first RCZ.
- Low coupe silhouette with a classic trunk, without a fifth door.
New elements include the “three claws” light signature front and rear, narrow “lion’s gaze” headlights, triangular air intakes in the corners of the front bumper, a large rear diffuser with a perforated RCZ lettering, and forged wheels: 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. The paint, according to Peugeot, contains recycled aluminum.

Peugeot will be the first Stellantis brand on the STLA One platform; production models in the B, C and D segments on it are expected from 2027. Spain’s Carwow notes that the press has been circulating figures of around 4.65 m in length, but Peugeot has not confirmed them, so we did not include them in the table.
Inside, there is no classic instrument cluster: instead there is an aluminum panel, transparent Micro LED displays and a central screen that can be completely turned off, a Serica clock, and a frosted-glass console with mode toggles. The seats are asymmetric, with higher bolsters on the console side, upholstered in recycled Pelinova leather and Alcantara. Unlike the cramped rear row of the original, two adults fit in the back, according to Peugeot.
Will there be a production RCZ
Officially, no: Peugeot has not named any production plan, price or date, and presents the concept as a look at the brand’s technologies and design rather than as a pre-production car. Motor1 puts it this way: the production version is “still a matter not decided”. Peugeot’s head designer Matthias Ossann explained in an interview with Autocar that four seats were made specifically for practicality and that the brand sees room in the market for such a model; based on this, Jalopnik rates the chances of a production run as high, but dependent on demand.
Peugeot has already said what will definitely make it into production from the concept: the Hypersquare steering wheel with steer-by-wire will appear in the next E-208. There is no specific timing for the solid-state battery in production cars. More about the other stand premieres is in the article about the E-T16 concept and the future 208 and in the 2026 Paris Motor Show roundup.

What you can fit on the “old” RCZ and other coupes
The first RCZ from 2010–2015 is still on the roads, and we have model-specific items for it in the catalog: EVA mats, textile and rubber, stainless-steel covers for handles and mirrors—everything is collected on the Peugeot RCZ 2010–2015 tuning page. There is no retrofit active spoiler like on the concept, but you can emphasize the coupe silhouette with a universal spoiler for the trunk lid or a rear bumper trim in a diffuser style. Before choosing, it is worth understanding how a spoiler works and how it differs from a diffuser: at road speeds, both are mostly about looks rather than downforce.
