Half of the cars sold by Porsche to 2023 will be electric

German car manufacturer Porsche plans to implement a fundamental change in the lineup of their cars. The company plans in 2023 to sell half of the vehicles equipped with electric traction.

As stated by the Director of the company Porsche Oliver Blum, the German company will make every effort to become one of the first speed transition to electric vehicles. A major role in this transformation will play a conceptual production model of the E Mission, which will form the basis of most future electric vehicles.

The first such car will appear in two years, and its mileage before the first recharge will be about 500 kilometers. Also, the company's management notes that such cars will be applied the technology charge in 15 minutes to 80%, which first appeared on model Mission E.

A year earlier, the Directorate Porsche reported that the release of Mission E needs to reach the level of 20 thousand cars a year. The production of so many cars for the German brand is of great importance. Especially when you consider that last year it sold about 230 thousand cars in various world markets.

It is suggested that after starting the serial production Mission E, the company can begin to assemble the crossover with electric motor and coupe-shaped body. The appearance in the sale of this car will not keep itself waiting long.
