Renault Kajar get the sports version RS

The French brand Renault plans to release a more productive version of the Kajar RS crossover. The company's management, most likely, was pushed to such a decision by fans of this brand, believing that the car clearly lacks agility and drive. Although at the moment there is no official statement from the concern yet, everything agrees that such a car will be released.

Some insiders report that not only the Kajar RS crossover, but also Captur and Koleos will see the light soon. However, regarding the last car, this option is hardly possible.

One of the directors of Renault at the Frankfurt Motor Show said that sports versions of crossovers could well go into production, but it is necessary to take into account all the costs, as well as the demand for “charged” cars.

As for the Renault Kajar model itself, it is built on the basis of the CMF-CD design, which was developed by Renault-Nissan engineers and incorporated as a base model in such models as Megane, Koleos and Talisman. This will greatly facilitate the development of a “charged” RS version of the car.

In addition, there have already been hints at the assembly of a sports crossover from Alpine. It was said that the production of cars can already be established in 2019. If this happens, then Kajar RS will become the cheapest car of this manufacturer.
