Process
So, the whole process of installing Shumka on the roof of a car is quite simple and you can do it yourself:
- First, the ceiling lining is removed. If there is a factory noise, then it is also removed.
- Next is a thorough degreasing.
- After the surface has dried, vibration isolation is glued with the first layer. If necessary (depending on what material you use), warm it up with a hairdryer and roll it with a roller.
- Next, a layer of soundproofing is applied. When pasting stiffeners, you need to remember that you will need to mount the roof sheathing from above, so the thickness of the material in this case should not be more than 5 mm.
- The final step is installing the factory roof sheathing.
