For the Volkswagen T5 Transporter 2003–2010 (pre-facelift), DD Tuning offers stainless steel bull bars, front guards and rear bars, side steps for short and long wheelbase, roof rails and cross bars, window wind deflectors and a bonnet deflector, winter grille covers, chrome trims, spoilers for the tailgate and barn doors, model-specific floor mats, and T6.1-style facelift kits. Make sure you choose front-end parts specifically for the 2003–2010 body: on the T5 after 2010 and on the T6 the headlights, grille and bumper are different.

How not to mix up the T5 with other body versions
The Volkswagen T5 was produced pre-facelift (2003–2010) and post-facelift (2010–2015). Passenger versions Multivan and Caravelle have their own pages – bumpers, trim and mats may differ from the Transporter.
For vehicles registered as 2010, don’t rely on the year alone—check the actual front end: winter covers and bonnet deflectors are not interchangeable between pre-facelift and facelift.
What to confirm about your Transporter before ordering
| Parameter | Options | What it affects |
|---|
| Wheelbase | short or long | side steps, roof rails, mouldings |
| Sliding doors | one or two | moulding set and arch trim set |
| Rear doors | tailgate (one-piece lift-up) or barn doors | spoiler, strip above the plate |
| Front seats | 1+1 or 2+1 (driver + double passenger) | front mats: different patterns |
How popular parts are installed
- Roof rails install into the factory roof mounting points; the kit includes 2 rails and mounting hardware, with versions on plastic or metal feet.
- The bonnet deflector, often called a “bug shield” by customers, mounts using clips or screws included in the kit.
- Stick-on wind deflectors attach to the door frame; in-channel deflectors slide into the window channel.
- The winter cover hooks over the factory grille; the upper and lower covers can be installed together.
- Side steps and bull bars mount to factory points; the fitting kit is supplied with the product. A body kit or facelift kit can be installed at DD Tuning’s network of certified service centres—your manager will advise the nearest one.
