Soundproof noise insulation materials Vibroton

In one of the previous articles, we reviewed a series of BiMast noise-absorbing vibration-absorbing materials from the StP company. Now we suggest paying attention to Vibroton soundproofing materials, which you may also need when soundproofing a car.
General definition
Vibrotone is a series of materials designed to isolate and suppress noise over a wide frequency range. According to the manufacturer's recommendation, this material is ideal for processing the engine compartment of a car from the passenger compartment, as well as for the floor of the vehicle.
According to its structure, Vibroton is a multilayer material and is based on modified polyethylene foam.
- The bottom layer has sound-reflecting and sound-absorbing effects, and its thickness is 8-10 mm.
- The top layer is only sound-reflecting, its thickness is 2 mm.
Characteristics of Vibroton
Vibroton has the following important characteristics:
- High soundproof properties;
- Low thermal conductivity (high thermal insulation);
- Does not absorb water;
- Durability (not subject to decay);
- Elasticity;
- Frost resistance;
- Resistance to mechanical damage.
